Description:
Moorhouse Construction designed and built a new commercial bakery in Houston
for major food retailer HEB at their Houston Retail Support Center. Pre-Construction
began in August of 2002 and had a duration of 90 days. During that time
a schedule, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) was established and equipment
layout finalized.
Construction began December 2002, on the 110,000 SF facility this renovation
with an addition had a completion in February 2004. Currently the bakery
is producing bread and buns, from the ingredient stage, through mixing,
baking, packaging and shipping.
