Description: Gillett Intermediate School-Kingsville ISD project. This project replaces the original school and neighboring Colston Elementary. This 100,450 SF campus will includes 42 classrooms, administrative offices, library, cafeteria with a special raised platform, kitchen facilities, computer labs, science labs, band, choir, art, special education, special education life skills and other academic classrooms. In addition, a new corridor will connect the new building to the existing gymnasium complex. The exterior style will reflect the Kingsville area Spanish architectural influence. Construction began in April of 2004 and has continued steadily to a completion date scheduled for June 2005.
