Description:
The Moorhouse-Beecroft, JV was awarded the Bayfront Convention Center Expansion project in June 2002. The City of Corpus Christi selected this team based upon qualifications, project staffing, schedule and fees for the project to be completed using the Construction Management method.
The project scope included expansion to the exhibit floor area, upgrades to the corporate meeting rooms and renovations to existing facilities. The lower floor was expanded by 40,000 SF and the upper floor by 35,000 SF. Additionally, large windows were installed in the upper floor that looks out over the Corpus Christi Bay.
