Description: Margaret
C. Clark Aquatic Center, Brownsville, Texas. This new addition to the
growing city of Brownsville support s elementary and secondary level swimming
activities for school districts thought the Rio Grande Valley.
The 36,000 SF enclosed pool project, included design and placement of
a 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, bleachers, locker facilities, offices,
movable floor and site development. The steel/CMU building has unique
features including an entryway of cobalt-blue glass and tile from Mexico.
In addition, a floating bulkhead is used to set the pool for different
race competitions.
